Finnish sawn timber is a global concept
Over the decades, the Finnish sawmilling industry has established its position as one of the most important players in the export industry and as a critical part of the Finnish forest cluster’s value chain. The Finnish sawmilling industry is known around the world as a reliable producer and marketer of high-quality sawn timber.

“The Finnish Sawmills Association, which represents independent sawmilling companies, believes that this industry that produces carbon-binding sawn timber is the industry of the future. We would go so far as to say that our industry is in a key position to mitigate climate change.“
